Super Bowl party tips
- People eat steadily for four hours, so put out half the food before kickoff and the rest at halftime: it stays hot and nothing sits out too long.
- Wings are counted as an appetizer here because there's plenty else on the table. Switch the serving style in the planner if wings are the whole meal.
- Keep chili warm in a slow cooker on low and it doubles as a topping for hot dogs or chips.
Food safety: don't leave perishable food out more than 2 hours, or 1 hour above 90°F (USDA). Keep hot food hot and cold food on ice.

Super Bowl party questions
What are the best Super Bowl party foods?
Wings, chili, sliders and chips with dip cover it: all finger food or bowl food that people can eat standing up during the game.
How long can party food sit out during the game?
Two hours at room temperature, then it should go back in the fridge or onto heat. That's why the food goes out in two rounds.
