Holiday party tips

  • A spiral ham and a pack of rolls makes a self-serve slider station that needs no carving during the party.
  • Meatballs hold for hours in a slow cooker on warm, which makes them the easiest hot appetizer for a crowd.
  • Adults only? Kids count as zero for wine and beer, and as half a guest for food.

Food safety: don't leave perishable food out more than 2 hours, or 1 hour above 90°F (USDA). Keep hot food hot and cold food on ice.

Holiday party questions

How much food do I need for a holiday party?
